Couples for Christ. Vallejo- Santa Rosa, Christian Life Program (CLP) 2023

Couples for Christ in this mission of family life formation in collaboration with the parish community of St Sebastian Sebastopol California under the religious pastoral leadership of Fr Mario Valencia.

Acceptance of Invitation for a new mission. Oct 01.

We were told that a parish in Sebastopol has stated it’s interest of having a Christian Life Program in their Parish San Sebastián Church.

We said Yes. We have done this many years before and even traveling to as far as Ukiah and Forth Brag. Planting seed of faith

Two members of the SOLD (Servant of the Lord ) spearhead this initial talk with the Priest

Brother Rizalino Dodong Padla and Brother Eddie Idang.

SOLD provides an environment wherein they will be empowered to manage their lives accordingly and find spiritual sustenance. SOLD activities revolve around the spirit of brotherhood offering pastoral formation programs that mold its members to become “True Men of God”.

While we are talking and planning about it. NorCal PPC (Parejas Para Cristo) is already into PVC ( Programa Vida Christiana) or ( CLP). October 10.

Tuesday nights, with 8 mtgs, Starting 7pm. The

service team by Calistoga area. Led by unit of Brother Arturo /Sis Ruth Rodriguez.

The First Friday of October 06 there was an healing mass in Spanish by Father Daniel Gagnon. It was a Holy Spirit filled evening.

Our CFC members from Santa Rosa cannot understand the Spanish prayers but they cried from their Heart because they feels God Presence.

Invitation to CLP (Oct 08)

We attended the mass and it was the Father Mario Valencia who invited the parishioners after communion. He emphasized the importance of this CLP to strengthen their family with God.

He asked Couples for Christ members to stand up and be acknowledged.

We were told that the Padre Daniel Gagnon was a Healing and an Exorcists priest. He confide to us that when he was inside at the confessional and he felt inside the Holy Spirit.

Next Sunday, October 15

We are supposed to have an orientation at the Parish classroom but no rooms are available it’s all used for the Parish Retreat in San Sebastián church That is how aggressive the church is in its desire to bring back their parishioners to church

Christian Life Program Orientation (Oct. 15)

We had our CLP Orientation at Saint Catherine and we are blessed we were able to use PLC even for a short notice

Our speakers were Brother Jun Amos De Leon , Bro. Jun Timbang and Bro Geron Landavora.

Brothers and Sisters from Santa Rosa were also present

Sister Colleen Timbang likewise visited us.

Amazing on that same morning we had the opportunity to meet and greet some of our CFC family after the mass

Mission CLP

Day1. God’s love (Oct 22)

God’s love is reflected in his creation. God’s love is described in the parable of the father and his two sons. But the fullest revelation of God’s love is the sending of the Son to suffer and die that we may have life eternal. Thus, we ought to know who this Son really is.

MISSION Christian Life Program.

New evangelization. Mission CLP is somewhat different from our traditional CLP which runs for 12 weeks

This will run for 5 weekends.

There will be some 2 talk in a day.

The scheduled Christian Life Program happened to be the Feasts day of Pope John Paul ll

Pope John Paul ll message is tell the World of his love and our First talk is God’s love.

Exacto. But more that the Exacto moment we are so elated with the numbers of participants.

Thanks for Bro. Rod Yumul he brought some of our candidates are from Vallejo.

Sister Carol was taking care of the kids and when she prayed the Rosary the child prayed with her.

A child is indeed a strong prayer warrior

We are not perfect as anyone in our community but again each one need to forgive us for our shortcomings.

As what Father Stephen Borlaug said to me be the change.

Our weakness is an opening to God’s helping hand.

God is revealing to us our mission.

Our story is about building our family.

Family with God center in our life.

Now we are here to fight for the strengthening of Family. To end culture of death and division
