Maraming tumatakbo para sa Barangay eto ang aking kwento.

In the 90’s I work as a legislative staff officer of the City of Makati under the Office of Councilor Raul Oloy Javier my best friend and my buddy in our kabataan Barangay days.

Never did I know that I would ever in that election of 1994.

I was just walking along Saint Paul Road and saw a bill board Prime City. A city within a City sabi ko sa aking sarili ano eto. I do not think this is possible knowing that this is a residential area.

I went to the Barangay office and as I enter the Barangay Council just ended their meeting.

The Solid council had spits and separated ways.

Soon Capitan Ric Alindayu asked me to join his ticket as a Kagawad 18 days before the election

I was hesitant, I just got married and would loose my job if I run.

They talk to my mom to convince me. My wife was silent about it but supported my decision.

I won the election as number 1 kagawad.

It’s not easy. Out Barangay is so big and with it is a huge responsibility

Yung bahay ko palaging may kumakatok. Yung namatayan, nasa ospital, nahuli, pang enrollment at marami pang Iba

So sa mga tumatakbo mag isip mabuti if this life is for you.

Pray for it na ibigay eto sa inyo ng Dios.

Kasi Iba yung feeling na May natulungan ka.

Magaan sa loob. Actually you can help without being a kagawad o kapitan.

The church needs laborers. God need servants

Ang pagtulong minsan nasa puso na natin yun.

Pray for it. When I run as a Kb Chairman I prayed to Santo Nino. I won by one point.
